On August 6, 2009, Tan Cang Saigon Company under the Naval Command held the opening ceremony of ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình customs clearance point (ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình Company) in Long Binh Ward, Biên Hòa City. Attendees included Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Vinh, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Hien, Commander of the Naval Forces.

ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình customs clearance point covers 80 hectares with a capacity to clear 500,000 TEUs per year, approximately 10 million tons of cargo through warehouses. The clearance point is designed with 3 zones: 23-hectare container yard, 50-hectare warehouse system of various types, 7-hectare office and service area. ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình is the first place in Vietnam to apply electronic customs clearance.
