The planning and development of the inland container depot system in Vietnam for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is being prioritized by the Government to improve transport infrastructure. The main objective is to enhance capacity through the inland container depot system to handle approximately 25% to 35% of import-export containerized cargo demand along transport corridors, thereby facilitating the transportation of goods and economic development. Along with this, the logistics connectivity system is one of the fundamental elements, playing an important role in promoting trade and economy. Inland container depots are not only transshipment points but also bridges that help optimize cargo flows, reduce congestion at seaports, and increase supply chain efficiency.
