In the term summary report, the Grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee emphasized the outstanding achievements on many fronts. Trade union activities closely followed the political tasks and production-business characteristics of the company, gradually innovating content and operational methods, bringing clear practical results. Most notable was the launch of the "Excellent Workers, Creative Workers" movement associated with the slogan "One project per engineer, one initiative per trade union team." As a result, many initiatives and projects have been researched and applied in practice, typically the Terminal Operating System (TTOS) software and the deployment of new value-added services at ICD Long Bình, contributing to improved labor productivity, service quality and economic efficiency.

In parallel with promoting creative spirit in labor, the Grassroots Trade Union also paid special attention to the material and spiritual welfare of union members. All regimes and policies such as wages, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance are fully guaranteed. In addition, the trade union cooperated with the Company's Leadership to implement many practical welfare activities such as supporting union members in difficult circumstances, timely visiting and encouraging workers or their families when encountering hardship, organizing cultural and sports activities, thereby creating a friendly, cohesive and united working environment. In particular, the trade union also actively participated in Party development work when it introduced and nurtured 12 outstanding non-Party members for Party membership, and sent many officers and union members for training to improve their professional qualifications.

At the Congress, many presentations candidly analyzed strengths and remaining limitations, clarified causes and lessons learned, and proposed solutions for the new term. Opinions focused on continuing to innovate trade union activities toward being practical and effective, close to the needs of union members; promoting the role as a bridge between employees and the enterprise; accompanying the Leadership in building a harmonious, stable and progressive working environment. The democratic, open and responsible discussion atmosphere was a highlight of the Congress, truly reflecting the spirit of "Unity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development."

The Congress defined the operational direction for the 2025–2030 term with specific objectives. Accordingly, the trade union will continue to promote patriotic emulation movements, encourage creative spirit among workers and set the goal of having at least three feasible initiatives each year that bring practical economic benefits. Caring for workers' welfare remains a central task, linked to improving the working environment and strengthening dialogue to promptly address legitimate petitions and aspirations. At the same time, the trade union also focuses on improving the quality of the officer corps, building a strong grassroots trade union organization, contributing to the stable and sustainable development of ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình.

The Congress conducted democratic elections according to regulations, electing the Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025–2030 term consisting of 9 comrades with sufficient qualities, capabilities and prestige to lead the workers' movement and trade union activities in the new period. The Congress also elected the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union and delegates to attend the higher-level Trade Union Congress. The election results were enthusiastically received by union members, demonstrating the collective's confidence in the new trade union leadership.
