With a total area of 105 hectares, ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình operates a large-scale and modern system of warehouses, container yards, centralized inspection areas, etc., to serve and meet the increasingly diverse needs of our Customers, Partners and Enterprises
a/ Warehouse System:
ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình has completed the construction and operation of 105 hectares, comprising 30 warehouses with a total area of nearly 500,000m2 built to high standards, performing various functions such as bonded warehouses, inland warehouses, CFS warehouses, distribution warehouses, chilled warehouses, cold storage, hazardous chemical warehouses, and warehouses custom-designed to meet customer needs.
With a modern system of equipment and tools ensuring efficient, safe and secure operation, including:
- Dock-leveller system combined with low-level doors to optimize cargo loading and unloading operations
- Racking system to optimize storage space and cargo management
- CCTV camera system, inner and outer security teams equipped at each warehouse.
- Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) software capable of electronic data exchange with customers' ERP systems.
- Container Management System (CMS) software updating information on containers entering/exiting the Port.
- Automatic alarm and fire prevention and fighting system
- Office space (300 m2/warehouse) arranged inside the warehouse to facilitate customer supervision and cargo management.
In addition, ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình has invested in comprehensive auxiliary facilities that are diverse and modern, such as: repair and maintenance workshops, showroom system, office space, fuel station, sports area, canteen and café system to ensure maximum satisfaction of customer needs.
b/ Centralized Inspection Area
On March 10, 2010, the Centralized Inspection Area at ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình was inaugurated and officially put into operation under Decision 206/QĐ - TCHQ of the General Department of Customs, Ministry of Finance, with a total area of 3 hectares including Cargo Inspection Area and Yard Area, allowing 100 vehicles of all types to park simultaneously, while facilitating convenient stuffing/unstuffing of various goods between trucks and containers.
c/ Fixed Container Scanner HCVG 6035 manufactured by Smiths Detection in 2012.
The fixed Container Scanner HCVG 6035 located near the Centralized Cargo Inspection Area is capable of scanning 2 containers/time and 23 container trucks/hour simultaneously. With superior modern features, the container scanner helps enterprises shorten customs clearance time, maximize labor and cost savings compared to conventional cargo inspection methods.
d/ Container Yard System.
The container yard system is planned on an area of 5.6 hectares with multiple functional zones: laden container storage area, empty container area, LCL consolidation area, bonded cargo storage area, vehicle parking area; container repair area (M&R service) 1.6 hectares.
The entire container yard system is managed by dedicated CMS software, capable of connecting with the information systems of Tân Cảng Cát Lái, Tân Cảng Cái Mép - Thị Vải and supporting good connectivity with customer information systems.

Equipment has been modernly invested to maximize support for port service operations, such as:
- 100 tractor heads, 200 trailers.
- 50 warehouse forklifts of various types
- 02 Container handlers
- 02 rubber-tyred gantry cranes serving the container yard.
- Fiber optic, Internet, and telephone transmission systems are scientifically and conveniently arranged for customer and partner transactions.
