On March 10, 2010, the Centralized Inspection Point at ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình officially commenced operations under Decision 206/QĐ-TCHQ of the General Department of Customs, Ministry of Finance. This milestone marked an enhancement in high-quality services provided to customers, facilitating the clearance of import-export cargo and creating seamless connectivity among the port and ICD systems of Saigon Newport Corporation.
The Centralized Inspection Point covers a total area of nearly 30,000 m², including an inspection facility with a raised, well-ventilated platform system that facilitates container truck clearance, allowing over 100 containers to be inspected simultaneously. Moreover, it is staffed by a professional, highly disciplined workforce equipped with comprehensive and modern handling equipment and tools.
In addition to the above advantages, the container scanning system, operational since October 1, 2013, represents a significant benefit for customers using services at ICD Tân Cảng - Long Bình, helping satisfy all enterprises by shortening clearance time, reducing costs, and enhancing business efficiency.
